3DS Expansion Slide Pad Revealed

Famitsu magazine revealed scans of the rumored second analog stick add-on called the Expansion Slide Pad.

The device adds a smaller analog stick to the right of the face buttons on the 3DS adds more bulk to the unit.

It is unclear if Capcom’s Monster Hunter played a part in the attachment’s creation, but the device is fully compatible with the action RPG.

Monster Hunter supervisor Ryozo Tsujimoto says the Expansion Slide Pad “provides a good grip on the system” and is “a secret weapon” allowing a similar play style found on the Wii’s Monster Hunter 3.
