Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer Confirmed
We can all finally stop trying to figure it out because –via Twitter- Bioware announced that Mass Effect 3 will indeed have multiplayer.
Since the game’s announcement, the feature has been speculated given certain comments made by developers concerning their interest in multiplayer. Since then, it hasn’t been confirmed or denied whether it actually exists or if it was just wishful thinking.
Bioware’s Casey Hudson sent out this tweet earlier today though:
“Yes, co-op MP missions for #ME3: they’re real and they’re spectacular. Rest assured it’s nothing of what you’ve feared. More soon…”
It has been earlier stated that missions they wished to do with multiplayer would branch off from the main story. Given Mass Effects heavy single player, that’s to be expected. Regardless, the idea is still hard to wrap your head around despite how amazing it sounds.
More information on the feature, as well as the game, will be revealed in the PC PowerPlay magazine on October 19.
Mass Effect 3 is to be released on March 6, 2012 on PS3, PC, and Xbox 360.
