Today is a big day for fans of Gran Turismo 5 as a massive free update has just gone live.
Weighing in at 1192 MB, Spec 2.0 is full of additions, improvements and tweaks to make you racing experience even better than before.
I have to give Polyphony Digital major props for fully supporting Gran Turismo 5 almost a year after its release date.
Let’s move on to DLC shall we?
The US Gran Turismo site has details on the first wave of downloadable content that will be arriving on the PSN on October 18, 2011.
Course Pack ($4.99)
The Course Pack features the Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium (weather customizable) and a kart track (night-time).
Racing Car Pack ($7.99)
The Racing Car Pack will feature 15 cars including the Red Bull X2011 Prototype ‘11
Racing Gear Packs
There will be two Racing Gear Packs available that will add more racing and paint items. The Items Pack (90 items) will include helmets and suits for $2.99, and a Paint Pack (100 colors) which adds more colors to the mix at $1.99.
If the batch of DLC sounds good to you then a bundle will be available for the price of $11.99.
