DC Universe Online Gains 1 Million New Players from Going Free-to-Play

Sony has some pretty good news to share about DC Universe Online. 1 million new registered players have joined DCUO with an even 50/50 split between the PS3 and PC platforms.

I bought the game when it released originally, and was a paid subscriber for a few months. The game originally had a pretty sizeable community and now those numbers have risen to new heights as Sony tries to keep up with the increasing amount of players.

Looks like going free-to-play was the best thing SOE could have done for DC Universe Online.

Death Note Killa

Its really repetitive and half the time I can’t get on because the server are screwed up. I like it but as I said before its kind of an open world game and my problems with them.

Funny how millions have a ps3 online and only half a million actually buys stuff regularly.
