Rumored Wii U Specs – Very Impressive

New specs for Nintendo’s Wii U have surfaced courtesy of Wii U Daily, and they are very impressive to say the least. According to an anonymous developer the Wii U will house a “quad-core, 3-GHz CPU from IBM into its design, a 45-nanometer PowerPC chip that’s “very similar” to the 3.2-GHz triple-core PowerPC processor found in the Xbox 360.”

The Wii U is also rumored to come with “768 megabytes of embedded DRAM – built on the same die as the CPU itself – as well as an “unknown,” 40-nanometer GPU from ATI.”

Satoru Iwata has also confirmed recently that the Wii U will support 1080p graphics and 3D, but the feature isn’t a priority for Nintendo because 3D TVs’ aren’t widespread as of yet.

“If you are going to connect Wii U with a home TV capable of displaying 3D images, technologically, yes, it is going to be possible, but that’s not the area we are focusing on.”

Let’s hope they don’t waste it by having us play the same game over and over again, but with better graphics. lol

Sorry but impressive for how wii owners, they are going to get they ass kicked by the 720 and PS4 in graphics and features. Its so stupid for them to enter the HD era when the others are about to be in the second gen of HD.
