Kinect Launches for Windows on February 1

Window’s has confirmed in their CES 2012 keynote that Kinect will be coming to a PC near you on February 1 with a model that is different from the camera on the Xbox 360 console.

Major Nelson tweeted the price featured on Amazon to be $249.99, making it $100 more than the console version. However, the Kinect on PC is an improved model with the nifty ability to detect objects near the camera lens.
