Game Over for Metal Gear Online

Konami has announced that Metal Gear Online and will go offline on June 12, 2012.

Metal Gear Online launched with Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots in 2008, and even had 1.3 million members the next year.

Konami will not accept new registrations for Metal Gear Online after April 24, and will offer expansion packs and shop content for free until the plug is pulled.
