The Witcher 2 for Playstation 3: ‘We are waiting for the perfect occasion’

The Witcher 2 could very well be a possibility for owners of the Playstation 3.

Adam Badowski of CD Projekt Red told Eurogamer recently that “We are waiting for the perfect occasion,” to release the hit role-playing game on the PS3, but don’t expect the release date to be anytime soon.

The Xbox 360 will be getting their own Enhanced Edition of Witcher 2 in April built specifically for the console with new content and a new rendering engine. It took the a team of 90 developers a year to complete the project.

For a port to land on the PS3, the studio would have to pass concept submission to uphold Sony’s policy of giving PS3 gamers new content in a game that have already launched on other platforms.
