I couldn’t help but share this pretty cool piece of tech with you.
The Echo is a sleek digital card that stores information from up to three cards. Your credit, debit, loyalty and prepaid cards can now be joined into one.
Kinda like Voltron, but without giant robotic cats….You get my point.
It works by using miniaturized computers that mimic card data and syncs with your mobile phone. The mobile app allows you to turn the Echo into the card of your choosing, and once the card is selected you can use the Echo as you would any other card.
The Echo will retail between $80-100, and will be launch on Kickstarter this Winter. Protean has thought of every contingency to make sure you are well guarded from fraud, and I’m sure security issues will be a deciding factor for any customer interested in purchasing the card.
