Nintendo announced at their Wii U press conference that the sequel to Bayonetta will be a Wii U exclusive, which is a surprise to the industry but a relief to fans.
Bayonetta released in 2010 for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360, but never made its way to the Wii. With Nintendo publishing Bayonetta 2, Platinum Games has found a new home for their heroic, 4-eyed bombshell.
There are no details surrounding a release date or gameplay features. The only information released at this time is a brief announcement trailer.
Bayonetta did pretty well in the west, but proved more of a success in Japan. This is a good move by Nintendo to help to prevent a fan-favorite game such as Bayonetta from fading away while bring more attention to the Wii U.
