To be honest, online mode was only fun in horde mode. I loved working with my friends and taking out the horde. The game is worth it for the gameplay, the story and the graphics. Online mode could work if they made some tweaks. A patch happened in January where a lot of the annoying things were changed though to make it more fair and fun.

I haven’t played online since my roomate moved the router and made our internet connection super weak.
But if that’s true, gameplay for online should be a lot better and more fair.

I was super dissappointed with gears 2. yeah the storymode is great but online is fucking bullshit. they should have kept the online the same as it was gears of war 1 and the ranking system is stupid cuz it only puts u against ppl ur rank so casual gears players r fucked. im dissappointed i bought it cuz i beat the storymode and ive never touched it again.
